About

CampingtheCamp is an independent publisher of plain-English guides on camping and outdoor gear.

What we cover

These guides cover camp stoves, tents, cookware, sleeping bags, pads, RV and camper accessories, backpacks, and hiking gear. Each guide answers one reader question so you can find what you need fast.

How we write

Each guide starts from a real reader question. We check the facts against official and published sources, explain them in plain language and update guides when things change. Some links are affiliate links; see our Affiliate Disclosure. Details can vary by product, country or situation, so confirm them before you act.

Read our Editorial Policy for how articles are researched and updated.
